Permit and terms
1. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 or over who are the parent or guardian of a child enrolled in an approved childcare service. Entrants must hold an active Kids Capital membership at the time of the draw. Employees of Kids Capital and their immediate families are not eligible.
2. Entry
An active membership is your entry; no additional purchase is required. Gold and Premium members are entered into the monthly draw for their tier. Elite members are entered into the quarterly Gap Be Gone competition.
3. Draw dates
Monthly draws take place on the last day of each month. The quarterly Gap Be Gone draw takes place on the last day of each quarter. Entries close at 11:59pm AEST on the draw date.
4. Prizes
Gold: a $500 essentials bundle. Premium: $1,000 cash. Elite first prize: childcare gap fees covered up to $40,000 plus a $10,000 grant to the child's centre; second prize $1,000 cash; third prize a $500 essentials bundle.
5. Verification
Before any prize is awarded, Kids Capital will confirm the winner's enrolment and current gap fee directly with their childcare centre. Winners must provide reasonable documentation on request.
6. Payment
The Elite first prize is paid once, directly to the parent or guardian, calculated from the verified gap fee and months remaining in care. The centre grant is paid separately to the centre.
7. Publication of winners
Winners will be notified by phone and email within two business days of the draw. With consent, the winner's first name, suburb and state may be published on the Kids Capital website.
8. Permit
Draws are conducted under trade promotion permits issued by the relevant state and territory authorities. Permit numbers will be listed here once confirmed.
